Alexander Reber
Becoming the managing partner of the Miller Dixon Drake, PC and helping to grow their staff and client base is
Alex Reber’s biggest professional accomplishment to date. The firm has been helping individuals, businesses and
nonprofits for more than 30 years. “It is also fulfilling to be able to use my skills as a CPA to assist various
nonprofit and public boards to better be able to fulfill their missions in the community,” he said.
Reber believes the key to his success is the enjoyment he gets from interacting with people and helping them
succeed. “If people can tell that you are genuinely interested in them, and you partner with them to help them
achieve their goals, they are grateful and that inspires you to do more to help others,” he said.
A member of the team at Miller Dixon Drake, PC for 15 years, Reber started in 2007 as a senior accountant and
moved into his current role as managing partner in January 2021. Lebanon Valley College was the site of his
master’s and bachelor’s in business administration. He became a member of the college’s Board of Trustees in
June.
A 2021 Leadership Harrisburg Area, Community Leadership Series Graduate, Reber heis also active with the
Harrisburg Redevelopment Authority & Land Bank. He is a Legislation Committee Member for the Pennsylvania
Institute of Certified Public Accountants and secretary for the Upper Dauphin Industrial Development Authority.
“In everything I do, I’ve tried to use the skills I have to benefit others whether in a professional, nonprofit or
informal setting,” he said.
