Ephrata National Bank expands into Maryland with Cecil Bank acquisition

Ephrata National Bank (ENB) on June 29 announced the completed acquisition of Cecil Bank. Customers of Cecil Bank, which operated across four offices in Cecil County, Md., have rolled into ENB services.
The four former Cecil Bank locations have been newly renovated and will furthermore serve as ENB locations:
1. Elkton: 127 North Street, Elkton, Md. 21921
2. Fair Hill: 4434 Telegraph Road, Elkton, Md. 21921
3. North East: 108 North East Plaza, North East, Md. 21901
4. Rising Sun: 56 Rising Sun Town Center, Rising Sun, Md. 21911
ENB said in a statement that the same local teams will continue serving Cecil County customers, with added services like enhanced checking, savings, lending and digital banking offerings. ENB’s Investment Services and Wealth Solutions will also be available to customers of the former Cecil Bank.
ENB maintains $2.2 billion in assets and 18 full-service locations, including in Lancaster, Berks and Lebanon counties. With ENB’s first foray into the Maryland market, the organization has committed to expanding its community initiatives to Cecil County by partnering with local organizations.
