York firm named national finalist for holiday campaign

Warehaus has been named a national finalist in the 2026 Society for Professional Services (SMPS) Marketing Communications Awards for its holiday campaign celebrating . The campaign, “A Taste of York Holiday Mixed Media”, was inspired by York County’s 275th anniversary and gained First Place and Best in Show honors, the highest honor awarded across all categories, from SMPS Philadelphia before advancing to national competition. 

Created in celebration of York County’s 275th anniversary, “A Taste of York” was developed as a holiday gift experience for clients and partners, according to a release. The campaign highlighted local businesses, landmarks, history, and community projects through a custom-designed package that connected York-made products with Warehaus projects throughout the region. 

“We wanted to create a holiday gift that felt uniquely York,” Chief Marketing Officer Lauren Bergman said in a statement. “Every item, project, and story included in the campaign reflected the community that has supported Warehaus for more than four decades. It was an opportunity to celebrate York County’s history while highlighting the businesses, organizations, and projects that continue to shape its future.” 

Each recipient received a custom-branded reusable tote featuring iconic York County landmarks and symbols, along with locally sourced products paired with project stories, per the release. York Peppermint Patties were linked to the York County History Center, where Warehaus led architectural design and efforts, while Stauffer’s Animal Crackers highlighted the firm’s work on the York County SPCA Brougher Companion Animal Shelter. The gifts were complemented by an interactive digital component featuring project showcases, a memory game highlighting York landmarks, and a York-themed Spotify playlist. 

Developed and executed by Warehaus’ two-person marketing team, the campaign combined storytelling, community pride, and relationship-building with measurable results. More than 75% of the gifts were hand-delivered to clients and partners, emphasizing appreciation for each relationship. 

National winners will be announced during the SMPS Marketing Communications Awards ceremony at Amplify A|E|C 2026 in Las Vegas on July 28. The SMPS Marketing Communications Awards are among the architecture, engineering, and ‘s more prestigious honors, recognizing excellence in , creativity, and measurable impact.
