Penn State Health Golisano Children’s Hospital has been named to Newsweek‘s “America’s Best Children’s Hospitals 2026” list.
The hospital at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center was recognized by Newsweek and Statista. The annual ranking evaluates the top 50 children’s hospitals nationwide across eight specialties, and is based on a comprehensive evaluation that includes hospital quality metrics, patient outcomes and recommendations from health care professionals.
The Children’s Hospital was recognized as a leader in neonatology.
“This recognition reflects our team’s unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional, family-centered care to our smallest and most vulnerable patients,” Dr. Sarah Iriana, interim chair of the Department of Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital, said in a statement. “Our neonatology program is built on collaboration, innovation and compassion, and we are proud to be recognized among the nation’s best.”
Penn State Health Golisano Children’s Hospital provides pediatric services, including advanced neonatal intensive care, specialty care and access to clinical research through Penn State College of Medicine. The hospital’s Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit offers care for premature and critically ill newborns, serving families across Central Pennsylvania and beyond.
