Benjamin Bostic joined Boyer & Ritter LLC upon graduating from Shippensburg University in 2009.
“I am a CPA and business advisor who works with financial and non-financial types to help businesses in their
pursuit of success,” he said. “I treat my clients and coworkers as family and go out of my way to help them achieve
their goals.”
Bostic is a key member of the firm’s manufacturing, construction and real estate services groups, according to
coworker Jewel Cooper. He is the firm’s Paycheck Protection Program, Economic Injury Disaster Loan and Employee
Retention Tax Credit expert.
“The accounting profession became even more important to business owners as a result of newly created
programs designed to retain employees and provide a lifeline to individuals,” Bostic said. “I have been able to help
countless companies secure these funds, retain employees and support families. It was also exciting to help
businesses secure additional funding and create job opportunities for the community.”
Bostic is the board treasurer for the Downtown Carlisle Association. He graduated from the Dame Leadership 10
New Leaders Program in 2022.
He credits Edward Straley, principal emeritus at the firm, for supporting him throughout his career.
“(Straley) was never afraid to throw me into the deep end because he knew that giving me tasks I already knew
how to do would never make me a better person or accountant,” Bostic said.
