Co-president since 2008 of D&H Distributing, Michael Schwab oversees operations, sales, vendor partnerships and more, along with his brother and fellow co-president Dan Schwab.
His leadership has established enduring partnerships with manufacturers such as Microsoft, Cisco, HP and Lenovo, driving growth in everything from cloud solutions and professional services to hardware, mobility and connectivity. D&H is now established as a go-to destination in delivering technology to business communities ranging from small to mid-market.
In the past year, a major challenge was D&H’s moving its Harrisburg distribution operations to a new facility – the size of three football fields – three times larger than its previous location. “It’s a credit to leadership and the team that the transition was so seamless,” Schwab said. “D&H has been in Harrisburg for 70-plus years (and) are celebrating 25 years as an employee-owned company. With our modern campus headquarters and state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly new distribution facility, we have futureproofed our local operations while reducing our carbon footprint.”
