Michael J. Curran’s key to success is his long-term approach to relationships paired with an innate ability to have honest and
candid conversations with clients, partners and fellow brokers.
“Foundationally, I learned a lot about business from my dad,” he said. “He was such a great and approachable businessman
with a strong work ethic and great ability to balance work and family life. He taught me to ‘treat others the way you wanted to
be treated’ and I have always followed this advice.”
“In the last decade, we have sold over $80 million of commercial real estate; (Curran) has been part of the team for about $70
million,” said Rick Szeles, managing partner, Szeles Real Estate Development. “We have also done many leases with him during
that time as both our listing broker and worked with him as a representative of the tenant moving into one of our buildings.”
Curran is proud to be a part of market-making commercial real estate transactions that have dramatically affected the region’s
growth.
“Commercial real estate has always been an economic driver, helping businesses create and retain jobs,” he said. “To say I
have had some hand in the economic development of our region is not an opportunity I take for granted.”
Curran volunteers as a coach for various youth sports and serves on the St. Theresa School Board.
Prior to his career in commercial real estate, he was a professional Zamboni driver.
