KFJ Enterprises, LLC and KFJ RIMCO are a family-owned business established by Khodi Irani in Dauphin County. As an Aaron’s franchisee, Irani and KFJ Enterprises are a rent-to-own furniture retailer.
Headquartered in Atlanta, Aaron’s provides lease ownership of name brand furniture, electronics and home appliances. The company was founded in 1995 and now sells to customers through its company-operated and franchised stores.
“Khodi, driven by a lifelong goal to earn a million dollars, found opportunity in Rent-To-Own,” the company stated. “Encouraged by family, they partnered with Aaron’s who were looking for owner operators…Khodi’s perseverance and family’s support turned his ambition into reality.”
Irani is joined in business by his wife, Jeroo; son, Farzad; daughter-in-law, Nazeen and daughter, Farzin Irani Sivasegaran. Irani’s store opened in 2001. Three years after a fire destroyed Irani’s shop in March 2014, the company reopened its storefront.
“Aaron’s was very supportive; they sent a special shipment of merchandise and an IT person to assist us. Our family and employees worked tirelessly to set up the new location,” Irani told Central Penn Business Journal at the time of the reopening in 2017.
“KFJ thrives in a fast-paced economy by adapting to market shifts while prioritizing customer satisfaction. Employees are trained to offer top-tier service in a relationship-focused environment,” the company said. ”As interactions move online, KFJ remains committed to nurturing bonds with multi-generational customers. KFJ fosters strong employee relations, promoting open communication and inclusivity, reinforcing KFJ’s reputation as a welcoming place to work and shop.”
