Joseph Haddock, market president, Eastern Pennsylvania with Highmark Health, increased his commitment this year giving back to the communities and organizations that he serves. He said participating on new boards of directors, such PASSHE Foundation to ensure affordable access to education; leading development efforts, such as JDRF Central PA Chapter to cure, treat and prevent Type 1 diabetes; or volunteering time, such as Central Penn Food Bank to fight hunger, “has been an incredibly fulfilling and rewarding accomplishment.”
As to the values he adheres to, Haddock said, “leading by example, with integrity, honesty and passion, having a desire to continuously learn and improve, maintaining optimism and a positive outlook toward achievement, and being accountable to my organization, team, clients and stakeholders have served me well in achieving personal satisfaction and success.”
