The design-build team is Pyramid Construction Services Inc., KD3 Design Studio Inc. and Paragon Engineering Services Inc.
The fire department has secured more than $5 million from state, county and local funds, as well as corporate donations.
The Derry Township Industrial and Commercial Development Authority is guaranteeing a $5 million loan so work can begin. The fire company is contributing $500,000 of its own funds.
The station will be more than double its current size when the project is completed. It is the first renovation to the station since the 1970s.
