Hershey Entertainment & Resorts has officially opened Hershey Inn & Suites, the first official resort of Hersheypark in nearly 60 years.
The four-story, 130-room property is located at 1300 West End Avenue in Hummelstown and joins the portfolio of The Official Resorts of Hersheypark. According to a release, amenities include complimentary hot breakfast, which is a first for an Official Resort of Hersheypark, a lobby bar, 24/7 arcade, a fitness center and an indoor pool that is open year-round.
“With our fourth Official Resort of Hersheypark, we continue to expand our lodging portfolio to offer guests incredible value,” Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Vice President of Resort Operation Jason Heath said in a statement. “The addition of Hershey Inn & Suites allows us to offer more guests the signature hospitality and exclusive benefits that define a stay in Hershey.”
The 130-room hotel also offers seven family suites with built-in bunk beds, a first for a hotel in The Official Resorts of Hersheypark portfolio. Per the release, these suites accommodate up to six guests and include a queen bed, a full sleeper sofa in a separate living space and in-room amenities. Additional room types include Double Queen rooms and Premium King rooms with sleeper sofas. To cater to larger parties and multi-generational families, nearly every room in the hotel is designed to connect to other rooms.
