Members 1st associates complete leadership program in partnership with Shippensburg U
Members 1st Federal Credit Union’s first cohort of associates completed a leadership development program offered in partnership with Shippensburg University.
According to a release, associates participated in programs designed to support leaders at different stages of their careers: the Frontline Leadership Credentialing program for emerging leaders and the Applied Leadership Skills for Mid-Level Leadership program. The programs provided participants with practical tools to strengthen communication, emotional intelligence, change management, employee engagement, and other leadership skills.
“At Members 1st, we believe developing our associates is one of the most important investments we can make,” Christy (Pavlakovich) Klinger, chief operating officer at Members 1st Federal Credit Union, said in a statement. “Watching our associates grow more confident, develop new skills and prepare for future leadership opportunities has been incredibly rewarding.
“We’re grateful to Shippensburg University for partnering with us to provide these meaningful learning experiences and help our associates continue building successful careers.”
The partnership reflects Members 1st’s commitment to investing in associates and creating opportunities for personal and professional growth, per the release.
