President and CEO of Providence Place Senior Living, David Leader said he is proud that several Providence Place communities were named among the U.S. News Best of Assisted Living in 2023; that the organization recovered from COVID-19 challenges and returned average census to greater than 93% this year across its seven campuses throughout Pennsylvania; and that Providence Place improved staffing and retention enough to end the use of temporary agency nursing in all but one of its buildings by November 2023.
His values? “Our organization operates by family-instilled honesty and integrity of purpose,” he said. “We collectively and I personally are not afraid to try something new.” Also, Leader answers his own phone; interacts personally with front-line team members and customers across all campuses; and acknowledges his mistakes.
