Asheleigh Forsburg

The key to Asheleigh Forsburg’s success is her tenacity and confidence.
“I have always believed that I am capable of anything and that if I want something, I can make it happen,”
she said. “I also have tremendous confidence, and I am unafraid. That lack of fear allows me to ask for what I
want, believe that I am worthy and helps me to influence others to believe the same.”
With the Peyton Walker Foundation, Forsburg manages an organization that saves lives through heart
screenings that detect life-threatening heart defects, as well as AED donations that have been used to save at
least two lives.
“I have come from nothing and have used every resource at my disposal to make this community a better
place for all,” she said. “I am unwilling to give up and have been called a ‘bulldog in a good way,’ a direct quote
from a previous board member that I worked with. I grew up homeless and having the opportunity to attend and
graduate from The Milton Hershey School has provided me with such gratitude that truly all the work that I do is
to make them proud and to somehow pay them back for what they gave me.”
Forsburg is on the grounds crew for the Harrisburg Senators in her spare time. She can be spotted dragging
the field between innings or taking care of the field before or after a game.
