Scott B. Cooper said it’s his job to handle a full caseload of personal injury cases, mainly motor vehicle/trucking accidents and complex insurance coverage issues. particularly uninsured and underinsured motorist claims.
“I also am the current Chair of the Pennsylvania Judicial Conduct Board and serve on the Pennsylvania Disciplinary Board,” Cooper said. “I am also on the Dauphin County Bar Association Board of Directors.”
In the last year, Cooper said he is proud to have continued to represent people injured through no fault of their own.
“I settled several large cases, including over $1 million,” he said “I am particularly proud of my appointment to the Pennsylvania Disciplinary Board by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and also to have participated in several appellate court cases in the state Supreme Court.”
A challenge over the past year was the number of firms that claim to do personal injury cases, but are not fully invested or have the understanding involved, Cooper said.
Cooper also cited AI as a tool that is used by both potential clients and some lawyers.
“AI is a good place to start, but not something to be relied upon for an answer,” he said.
