He is a professional engineer with 20 years of natural gas utility experience, most recently as vice president of marketing, rates and gas supply. He has a BS in petroleum and natural gas engineering and a master’s degree in management from Penn State University. John L. Walsh, who had been president of UGI Utilities, was named president and chief operating officer of UGI Corp.
