New Tenants have been announced at The Shops @ Rockvale as part of Fernmoor‘s $100 million redevelopment.
Multiple national brands, including AutoZone, and local entrepreneurs make up the list of six additional shops expected to open soon. In addition to AutoZone, which looks to open in early spring 2026, five businesses are also set to open their doors in Lancaster as part of Fernmoor’s redevelopment.
Fernmoor’s investment in the property includes $1.2 million in roof replacements across most commercial buildings; $600,000 renovation to Building 8 (AutoZone’s location); $360,000 in new EV charging stations; and ongoing demolition and site work to prepare for the apartment buildings, with foundation work and vertical construction on the first 128-unit phase expected to begin by the end of the year.
“We’re seeing incredible momentum,” Jeffrey Fernbach, president of Fernmoor, said in a statement. “From new retail tenants to the start of our Mi-Place at Rockvale apartment construction, every milestone moves us closer to creating a community where people can connect and enjoy unique resources for all aspects of work, everyday living, and leisure. The entire project is bringing new energy and opportunity to East Lampeter Township.”
New tenants that will join AutoZone, the nation’s leading retailer of automotive replacement parts and accessories, are W.O.L.F. Fitness, Miniature Realms & Adventures, The Cage Baseball and Softball Training Facility, Ezzy Eats Authentic Mexican Restaurant, and The Back Nine Golf. According to a release, these six will contribute to Fernmoor’s plan to revitalize the East Lampeter Township property into a residential and retail hub, featuring 480 luxury apartments and more than 50 retail, dining, and entertainment options.
W.O.L.F. Fitness, a gym franchise founded in 2018 by Tony and Trish Saxby, was built with the goal of creating a hybrid workout space. The gym will open in early 2026.
“My co-owner, Danielle Goshert, and I welcome the Lancaster community to our new location,” said Shaun Witmer, owner of W.O.L.F. Fitness Lancaster. “With amenities including a sauna, cold plunge, turf area, posing room, and supplement store, we are excited to bring this concept to The Shops @ Rockvale.”
The Cage, a baseball and softball training facility next to the Lee Wrangler Store, is set to open in early 2026. Along with event space and small retail offerings, the facility will feature fully operational batting cages and lanes for both training and recreational use. Also scheduled to open in early 2026 is Miniature Realms & Adventures, which brings tabletop fantasy gaming to Lancaster.
Ezzy Eats Authentic Mexican Restaurant is opening its first brick-and-mortar location, which will be situated along Lincoln Highway. The restaurant is on track to open in early spring 2026.
With 200 franchise locations, The Back Nine Golf is the fastest-growing indoor golf franchise in the U.S. Expected to open by early 2026, it will provide 24/7 access to advanced indoor golf simulators.
Once completed, The Shops @ Rockvale will offer a connected community across Lancaster’s east end.
“We’re building more than a shopping destination; we’re creating a community,” said Kristi Burkholder, commercial property manager at The Shops @ Rockvale. “Each new tenant adds to the energy and diversity of the experience here, from fitness and recreation to family fun, great food and essential services. It’s exciting to see residents and visitors rediscover this area in a whole new way.”
