Leadership York accepting applications for 2027 Mentorship York program

According to a media release, Mentorship York is a mentorship and leadership development experience, designed to empower emerging leaders to make community impact through servant leadership, personal growth, and lasting connections. It’s Leadership York’s only competitive program; up to 12 qualified professionals are selected annually to participate in the program. According to the media release, Mentorship York is targeted toward individuals who have demonstrated professional success, actively contributed to their communities through volunteer service, held leadership roles in those efforts, and are motivated to continue growing as leaders.
Through a combination of one-on-one mentorship with an experienced community leader and monthly group learning sessions, participants gain valuable insight, guidance, and perspective to help them grow both personally and professionally, according to the media release. Emerging leaders can expand their networks and learn from some of York County’s accomplished and engaged community members.

According to Leadership York’s website, deadline to submit applications is Aug. 14, and applicants will be notified regarding their application status by Sept. 30. Cost of Mentorship York program is $1,550.
Founded in 1978, Leadership York’s mission is to train, connect and inspire individuals to serve the York community in leadership positions. Nearly 4,800 people have graduated from its seven programs. Those graduates provide leadership to more than 250 nonprofit organizations and serve thousands of constituents in state and local government.
