A Central Pennsylvania school is holding a children’s business fair for young entrepreneurs.
Threefold Schoolhouse, an Acton Academy, will host the 7th Annual Acton Children’s Business Fair at Stock Enterprises Inc., at 729 Williams Grove Rd. in Mechanicsburg on Saturday, May 2, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
“You can actually see what young people can accomplish when you inspire, equip, and empower them,” Charles Mitchell, co-founder of Threefold Schoolhouse, said in a statement. “It provides you with an opportunity to experience what Threefold Schoolhouse does for our little heroes.”
According to a release, the fair is free and open to the public and will feature businesses built and branded by entrepreneurs ages 5–16. Per the release, the vision for many of these young entrepreneurs began at Threefold Schoolhouse, an Acton Academy where students learn by taking ownership, solving real problems, and turning ideas into action. The fair creates an immersive experience of that philosophy’s results.
“If you want to understand what makes this school different, come to the fair,” said Charissa Mitchell, co-founder and director. “This isn’t a simulation. It’s real work, real risk, real pride. It’s what happens when you trust young people to do hard things.”
The fair is supported by presenting sponsor Yingst Building Group and other sponsors including Commonwealth Partners, John & Cameron Soroko, and Acton Academy. In fall 2026, Threefold Schoolhouse will open its first permanent campus at Ashton Road and Moorefield Street in Upper Allen Township.
