Jayson Wolfgang, shareholder and head of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rand’s Harrisburg office, handles administrative oversight locally for about 40 of the firm’s lawyers, government relations professionals and staff. “My law practice includes representing various businesses such as insurers, health care entities, financial institutions and nonprofit corporations in commercial disputes, governance, administrative regulation and state government contracts,” he said.
The local talent market has been a challenge recently, Wolfgang said. “However, changing market conditions often present opportunities, and we consider the Harrisburg office and the firm to be in growth mode. … We are strategically adding lawyers, government relations professionals and other professional staff to continue to meet the needs of our clients and to continue our tradition of excellent client service.”
The firm recently held a retreat, “and it served as a great reminder of the strength of Buchanan’s culture,” he said. “The collaboration and innovation, both within the Harrisburg office and among the firm’s 15 offices, contribute to our continued success.
