Hanover-based Ox Industries, a producer of recycled paperboard manufacturing, announced it has introduced high-strength paper grades for paper cores in the film and paper industries.
The grades enhance performance and durability to meet the demands of high-performance applications, per a release.
“At Ox Industries, we focus on innovation in sustainable packaging and paperboard solutions,” Matt Sullivan, senior vice president Sales and Marketing of Ox Industries, said in a statement. “These high-strength paper grades offer a cost-effective, eco-friendly alternative to traditional core materials while meeting performance demands.”
The new grades are engineered for strength, consistency, and resilience and are aimed at ensuring reliable integrity for industries requiring cores with high flat crush, radial crush and load strength, according to the release. The grades are suited for film and paper manufacturers needing stronger cores to handle high-speed winding, heavier rolls, and demanding processes.
“We produce the paper used in our tube and core facilities, giving us full control over quality and timelines,” said Sullivan.
Ox Industries is a producer of 100% recycled paperboard, paper tubes and cores, protective packaging, and specialty paper products. The new grades, made from 100% recycled fiber, support the company’s mission to promote sustainability and the circular economy.
