Arkview Recovery Center of Mechanicsburg has officially changed its name to Arkview Behavioral Health.
Arkview said the move was made to reflect the organization’s growth and enhanced focus on serving individuals with primary mental health needs in addition to substance use treatment.
Over the past several years, Arkview has been providing care to individuals navigating addiction and co-occurring disorders.
It said that foundation has now grown with the launch of primary mental health PHP and IOP programs in Mechanicsburg and East York, fully licensed by the Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.
Both outpatient locations have been newly renovated and expanded to better serve individuals and families seeking accessible, community-based care.
“We’ve grown beyond the scope of a traditional recovery center,” said Cassandra Harris, COO of Arkview Behavioral Health. “This name change reflects the care we’re already providing—whole-person, community-based, and grounded in strong clinical support for both mental health and substance use needs.”
The new name reflects a broader mission to serve as a resource for individuals and families across the full continuum of behavioral health.
The organization’s new website is now live at www.arkviewbh.com.
