The 114-year-old company was founded with a vision of building long-term relationships grounded in trust and excellence. It’s mission, ‘Clients for Life’, continues to inspire and guide the company today. “It emphasizes our commitment to not just completing projects but to forging strong partnerships with our clients. Our success is built on a foundation of quality, integrity, and service,” said President Conlan Swope.
He said Warfel’s growth, specifically over the last 10-15 years, has been a key milestone in its history as the company has expanded into new regions to better serve clients. Over the years, the company opened offices in Paoli, PA, Winchester, VA, and State College, PA. Swope said each of these expansions reflects Warfel’s commitment to supporting both its client’s needs and the communities it serves.
He said Warfel views challenges as opportunities for growth. “When faced with industry changes or economic shifts, we rise to the occasion by staying adaptable, forward-thinking, and willing to take bold steps. Whether it’s implementing new technologies or embracing innovative construction methods, we are committed to evolving and pushing boundaries while maintaining the highest standards of quality,” Swope said.
“Our core values—honesty, accountability, integrity, teamwork, and initiative—are at the heart of everything we do. These values guide our interactions, decision-making, and operational strategies. We put people first: our employees, clients, and partners. Our people-first culture is a cornerstone of Warfel’s success. By fostering a culture that prioritizes mutual respect, collaboration, and continuous improvement, we remain focused on delivering exceptional results every time,” he said.
Community engagement is fundamental to the company’s mission. “Warfel Construction isn’t just about building buildings; it’s about building relationships within the communities we serve,” Swope said. “Our team is passionate about giving back, whether through volunteering, supporting local organizations, or celebrating milestones like ribbon cuttings and groundbreakings. We believe in contributing to the greater good, not just as a company but as individuals who care about making a positive impact,” Swope said.
He said the company’s ability to stay competitive “comes down to our commitment to innovation and adaptability.”
