Lancaster and York colleges partner on business degree program

Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology and College have partnered in a business program. The two colleges recently signed an agreement that creates a seamless pathway for students who complete an Associate in Applied Science degree in at Thaddeus Stevens College, and to continue their education and earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at .

“Our mission is to open doors to higher education for students who might not otherwise have that available to them. Partnerships like this one with York College of Pennsylvania create meaningful pathways for our students to continue their education and pursue a variety of career options. We are proud to give our Business Administration graduates a direct route to a bachelor’s degree and an even stronger foundation for their future,” said Pedro A. Rivera II, president of Thaddeus Stevens College in a media release.

Through the agreement, students who earn an Associate in Applied Science degree in Business Administration with a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher from Thaddeus Stevens College are assured admission into York College’s Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program. Credits earned at or transferred from Thaddeus Stevens College will be applied toward the degree, up to a maximum of 75 credit hours, according to the media release.

Thaddeus Stevens College is a two-year, accredited technical college that is known for its hands-on training leading to jobs in high demand with strong wages. Founded in 1905 with 15 students, Thaddeus Stevens College has grown to more than 1,400 students and 25 technical programs.

Established in 1787, York College of Pennsylvania is a private, four-year college located in the city of York. It is known for its focus on experiential learning and community engagement, serving over 3,800 undergraduate and graduate students in more than 70 baccalaureate majors, along with 30+ professional graduate degree and certificate programs.
