Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology has earned accreditation from the for its associate in applied sciences degree in .

Recognized globally, the accrediting body sets strict standards for business education with a focus on teaching excellence, ongoing improvements and measurable student outcomes. The Accreditation Council was founded specifically to accredit institutions with an emphasis on teaching and applied knowledge, ensuring students graduate with practical, -ready skills.

“This acknowledgement of the excellence of our program, along with the strong outcomes our institution is known for directly aligns with our mission to create access and opportunity in education,” , president of Thaddeus Stevens College, said in a statement. “We don’t simply open doors to education; we create programs in direct alignment with workforce needs and our graduates have an average of 18 job opportunities per student.”

According to a release, this accreditation places Thaddeus Stevens College among a distinguished network of institutions that have met the council’s demanding standard for curriculum quality combined with faculty qualifications and student achievement. The accreditation will also support students seeking to continue in higher education.
