Camp Hill-based HB Global, LLC, has announced a change in its executive leadership.
The employee-owned parent company of 11 U.S. divisions in the mechanical, infrastructure, and real estate service industries, named Adam Smith president and chief operating officer, effective May 1.
Bob Whalen will remain chief executive officer.
“I’m excited for our company to operate under this new structure,” Whalen said in a statement. “I view Adam as my partner. This is an evolution for our company, and it will allow me to serve in more of a visionary role while Adam takes on the role of the integrator.”
Smith served as chief operating officer of HB Mechanical Group following four years as division president of HB McClure. As president of the organization, Smith will oversee all operations and will be responsible for operational decisions, according to a release. Whalen will focus on the vision, culture, and high-level strategic priorities of the company.
Smith will be responsible for overseeing the HB Global operational shared services functions that support each of the company’s divisions, per the release. He will continue to be responsible for the HB Mechanical business line vertical.
