The Foundation for Enhancing Communities (TFEC) is partnering with The High Center for Nonprofits.
The partnership will provide five nonprofit leaders with the opportunity to join The High Center.
“It’s important for TFEC to support the change-makers that impact our community,” Stefani McAuliffe, vice president of community impact at TFEC, said in a statement. “Partnering with The High Center allows us to empower nonprofits to invest in their leadership.”
Members of The High Center are invited to attend leadership speaker events offered throughout the year from the nation’s top thinkers and authors. Joining the center allows leaders in the nonprofit space to network, learn and grow alongside like-minded individuals, according to a release.
Creating resources and building capacity for nonprofits is at the forefront of TFEC’s mission, per the release. By sponsoring nonprofit leaders entering the cohort, TFEC will strengthen the organizations that support the community.
Founded by S. Dale High and local business leaders in 1995, The High Center is one of the nation’s first and largest centers dedicated to family and privately held businesses, per the company site. The Center serves and supports hundreds of businesses across six regions in Central Pennsylvania and has become a primary resource for executive peer groups, best practice education, leadership development, and legacy planning.
