Rock Lititz has announced the opening of Rock Nashville, a 55-acre live entertainment rehearsal and production facility in Nashville, Tenn.
Rock Nashville was developed through a partnership between Rock Lititz and Merus, with Soundcheck Studios serving as an anchor tenant. Tenants have moved into the facility and operations are online, with rehearsals underway. Situated on Whites Creek Pike less than 10 miles from Downtown Nashville, the 610,000 square-foot campus marks a major milestone in the city’s evolution as a global hub for live music and touring production, per a release.
“Rock Lititz is committed to finding ways to support a vibrant live entertainment industry,” said Andrea Shirk, president/CEO of Rock Lititz and Rock Nashville. “The opening of Rock Nashville helps enhance our reach and elevate the level of collaboration and innovation we are able to find together. With more than enough clients for both locations, this allows us to partner with a wider range of industry services that Music City is so well known for. Rock Nashville is eager to join such an established community.”
Rock Nashville is welcoming artists, production teams, and industry vendors to the campus. The facility is supporting rehearsals, technical production, and tour preparation across multiple stages and studios.
Among Rock Nashville’s features are the following:
The campus is home to a group of tenants of live touring and production, including Blackbird Academy, Backstage Barber, Neuro Tour, Dunlop, Takamine, Fishman, Taylor Guitars, LR Baggs, Sennheiser, Tyler Truss, Pyrotecnico, E1FX, Road Radios, PRS Guitars, JBL, Co-Pilot, Diablo, Alclair Audio, Stage Call, Audiotonix, Yamaha, Shure, Clear All Visuals, TAG, RockForce, Fuse, 4Wall, Rock-It Cargo, AVLX, Clair Global, TAIT / Gallagher, and Alcorn Case Company.
Expected to play a meaningful role in Nashville’s economic growth, Rock Nashville employs approximately 50 local staff members, with an additional 500 on-site employees from partner vendors including Clair Global, Gallagher, and Rock-It Cargo. In addition, the facility will support between 200 and 400 temporary local workers daily, such as labor crews, runners, and seamstresses, alongside an estimated 200 to 400 touring crew members working across the 15 studios.
“We remain committed to the Lititz community and Central Pennsylvania,” said Shirk. “Rehearsals, operations and growth plans for Lititz remain in place. The strategic addition of Rock Nashville will continue the Rock Lititz legacy as a leader in supporting the live event industry.”
An industry community that supports innovative creativity within the live event industry, Rock Lititz was founded in 2000 by Troy Clair, owner of Clair Global, and Adam Davis, CEO of the TAIT Group to create a larger community of industry companies calling Lititz home. The Rock Lititz campus opened in 2014 to create a purpose-built space for the live entertainment industry. It is home to more than 40 different companies and employs nearly 2,000 people.
The Rock Lititz community brings together designers, integrators, engineers, technicians, and artists to foster a collaborative atmosphere of creation and education. The community is supported by fitness facilities, collaborative spaces, art galleries, restaurants, bars, bike sharing, a doctor’s office and Hotel Rock Lititz. In 2024, Rock Lititz added the Academy of Live Technology to its campus, offering immersive industry training in a four-year BFA program in partnership with Pennsylvania College of Art & Design.
