Quandel Enterprises is a family of companies providing construction and energy solutions for over 140 years. Based in Harrisburg, it includes Quandel Construction Group, Pyramid Construction, and Quandel Energy Solutions. Quandel Enterprises employs 240 people across its various companies.

Quandel Enterprises was founded in 1882 when Emil Quandel saw an opportunity to support Pennsylvania’s growing construction and agriculture industries by producing high-quality lime in Minersville, PA. His mission was to supply the local market with essential materials, helping to build stronger communities. Under his son Charles, the company expanded into building supplies, laying the foundation for Quandel’s evolution into construction and infrastructure development.

Quandel’s 140+ years of success are built on a legacy of family leadership. Noble Quandel led the company before passing it to his son, Noble “Bud” Quandel Jr., who drove significant growth, expanding into a family of companies offering diverse construction services, including Pyramid Construction, Performance Construction, J. Vinton Schafer, and Quandel Energy Solutions. In 2020, Greg Quandel was named president and CEO, carrying forward the company’s tradition of excellence.
