Martin started Latus in 2005, and SVN is an international franchise she joined in 2018. She said her job is to “figure out how to make things happen for my clients.” As a broker, Martin provides sales, leasing and property management. “I meet with clients and solve problems to get deals signed. As owner of SVN Latus, I also oversee the management of the office.”
Martin said she is proud of the company’s growth during COVID-19. “Despite the pandemic hurdles, we added high-quality agents and posted our best two sales years ever.” SVN Latus ranked 43rd among SVN companies in 2020, and Martin ranked in the top 50 of 1,600 SVN agents worldwide.
“Always be flexible,” she said. “It’s important to me to run an ethical company and treat people fairly, and flexibility underlies all of that. I have all types of clients who have all types of requirements, and you have to be able to adjust. Don’t overreact to things. Give people grace.” In her spare time, Martin said, “I enjoy seeing new places, experiencing new cultures and tasting new foods” with family and friends. “I am partial to locations near the water – I grew up at the beach!”
