Led by owner Alex Everhart, the firm seeks to support local companies with operational improvements, growth, and transition planning amid market challenges. A new concept for one-stop business advisory services, BIG encompasses , mergers & acquisitions, bookkeeping, , and .

The team at 226 E. Market St. will work with local companies to drive efficiency, reduce expenses, and increase net operating income.

“We saw a need for a new idea where businesses and non-profits can obtain a wide variety of services in one place that can innovatively integrate all phases of business operations, to enhance growth, profitability, and sustainability,” said Everhart, a York native and businessman with over 30 years in management in the U.S. and Europe for Fortune 500 companies.

“Our team has decades of experience in working with businesses and non-profits of all sizes across a multitude of industries. Our goal is to make a positive impact for the betterment of the local and regional community.”

BIG provides the following suite of services to businesses and non-profits in the Mid-Atlantic region: Cash Flow & Profitability Analysis, Product Portfolio Analysis, Operational & Logistics Analysis, Exit Strategies, Bookkeeping Services, Marketing & Branding Strategies, Business Valuation Services, Mergers & Acquisitions Services, Risk Mitigation Strategies, Funding Strategies, Growth Strategies, and Complex Strategic Analysis. Services are focused and customized for each business and non-profit based on their needs.

The company is structured as three segments: Business Impact Group (Business Advisory & Consulting), Professional M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions), and BIG Accounting & Select Services (Bookkeeping Services).

“Our goal is to decrease the burden on business owners and non-profits by helping them with tasks requiring specialized analysis so that they can concentrate on their core business,” said Everhart. “Today’s business environment moves at warp speed and having an experienced partner like PA Business Impact Group that can analyze complex scenarios and data and make accurate recommendations is essential.”

Everhart said the decision to open a new Central Pennsylvania office was driven by challenges facing businesses.

“PA Business Impact Group believes this is an important time to expand because businesses throughout Central Pennsylvania are facing increasingly complex operational, financial, and transition-related challenges that require experienced, hands-on business support,” said Everhart. “The current business environment has created growing demand for services such as distressed business assessments, operational restructuring, retirement/business sale strategy, outsourced executive management support, transaction advisory services, bridge financing guidance, and succession planning.

“Many business owners are evaluating growth opportunities, acquisitions, recapitalizations, or long-term exit strategies while simultaneously navigating inflationary pressures, issues, supply chain disruptions, and changing lending environments.”

The firm provides specialized support services for CPA firms, law firms, lenders, and restructuring professionals, including bankruptcy-related operational support, Monthly Operating Report preparation, outsourced management services, and general business consulting support for bankruptcy matters.

Everhart added that expansion into York “reflects confidence in the long-term strength and resilience of the Central Pennsylvania business community and the increasing need for practical, operations-focused consulting support that helps businesses stabilize, grow, transition, or prepare for acquisition opportunities.”

York is a strong fit for expansion, he stated, because of its diverse industrial base, entrepreneurial culture, strategic transportation location, and long-standing history in manufacturing, logistics, and business ownership.

“The York region includes a broad range of industries that align closely with PA Business Impact Group’s experience and operational background, including manufacturing, warehousing, trucking, logistics, healthcare, senior care, and construction,” Everhart said. “Many companies in the region are evaluating modernization efforts, operational improvements, ownership transitions, acquisitions, or growth financing opportunities.”

Everhart noted that York’s location within a major transportation corridor makes it an ideal regional hub for consulting and operational support services related to logistics, manufacturing, supply chain management, and multi-location business operations.

“In addition, the area’s strong independent business community, combined with continued economic development activity throughout York County and Central Pennsylvania, creates significant opportunities to assist businesses with strategic planning, operational restructuring, valuation services, transaction support, and long-term sustainability initiatives,” said Everhart.

“PA Business Impact Group also believes York’s strong entrepreneurial culture and business network make it an excellent environment to develop collaborative relationships with local business owners, lenders, attorneys, CPA firms, investors, and economic development organizations.”

The firm plans to support local entrepreneurship by creating networking, educational, and business development initiatives in York.

“The company’s goal is to provide practical, real-world business discussions focused on areas such as operational improvement, business growth strategies, financial management, succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, business valuation, restructuring, financing opportunities, and long-term sustainability planning,” said Everhart.

“The York location is intended to serve not only as a consulting office, but also as a business resource and networking hub where business leaders can exchange ideas, develop partnerships, and contribute to the continued economic growth of the Central Pennsylvania region.”
