ISI Financial Group, a Lancaster-based Registered Investment Advisor that manages more than $700 million in client assets, has merged with Towson, Maryland-based Greenspring Advisors.Â
Headquartered outside Baltimore, with offices in Towson and Paramus, New Jersey, Greenspring Advisors currently serves nearly 700 private wealth and corporate retirement clients, with just over $6 billion in AUM.Â
“It’s the integrity, along with the breadth and depth of talent at Greenspring that was so attractive to me,” said Tim Decker, ISI president and CEO, who will become partner and managing director at Greenspring.Â
“Being able to provide additional resources, services, and expertise to our clients while providing even more opportunities and stability for the ISI team, was the main driver of this decision. Joining one of the nation’s top wealth managers allows us to continue our unwavering commitment to outstanding, personal service,” he said.Â
ISI Financial, a 100% fee-only independent Financial Advisor and Fiduciary has experienced substantial growth in past years serving nearly 475 clients, most of whom are high-net-worth, he said. Â
“From the day we opened our doors in 2004, Greenspring’s guiding principle has been to enrich the lives of others by helping them to make better decisions for themselves and their families,” said Pat Collins, CEO, Greenspring Advisors. “Building a presence for us to do that in Pennsylvania, with a firm who shares the same heart and conviction, allows us to stay strategically focused on growth with a purpose.Â
“Tim has built a strong business and wonderful team of highly respected wealth management professionals whose values align with ours, making this a natural fit,” he added.Â
Decker brings along five other professionals – all of whom will continue to work for Greenspring – making for a deeper bench of talent. Combined AUM hovers at $6.8 billion, with Greenspring’s three locations now serving approximately 1100 clients.Â
ISI will assume the Greenspring Advisors name over the coming months.Â
