Hummelstown’s Flagger Force expands into Ohio

Flagger Force, a short-term headquartered in and with operations across the eastern third of the United States, has announced the opening of a new facility in Columbus, .

According to a release, this allows to provide traffic management solutions to utility, , and other infrastructure-centered clients in the region and across the entire state.

“Flagger Force was founded in , making our expansion into the neighboring state of Ohio a natural step in our continued growth strategy,” Mike Doner, Flagger Force’s president and CEO, said in a statement. “Columbus is a growing area with significant infrastructure investment. Expanding Flagger Force’s presence into Ohio allows us to localize our operations and crews, while bringing large-scale resources, in-depth experience, and innovative technologies to our client’s critical infrastructure projects across the state.”

The new facility, located at 3776 E 5th Ave in Columbus, Ohio, will serve as a hub for local crew members and the company’s best-in-class equipment. Having a facility in Ohio will allow the company to quickly deploy traffic control professionals and equipment to projects throughout the state, per the release. The space will feature classrooms for in-person training and other activities. According to the company, Flagger Force has begun hiring within the region and has seen a significant request for services to meet the demand for professional traffic control management in Ohio.

With a full-time employee base of more than 2,500 professionals, Flagger Force establishes over 1,000 active work zones daily from to Florida and points in between. In addition to its expansion in Ohio, the company has expanded its operations in the Midwest and South in states such as Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee.
