GreenArrow expands mid-atlantic footprint with Atlantic Transportation acquisition
GreenArrow, a provider of transportation electrical services, has acquired Atlantic Transportation Systems, Inc., according to a media release.
Based in Camp Hill, Atlantic Transportation Systems, Inc. is a transportation infrastructure and safety services provider. ATS specializes in the installation, maintenance, and comprehensive inspection of traffic signals, intersections, intelligent highways, fiber optics, and roadway lighting.
“Joining forces with GreenArrow is a natural next step for our team. From our very first conversations, it was clear that GreenArrow shares our deep commitment to quality, safety, and community service. Geographically, our companies align perfectly,” said Sam Garman, owner of ATS, in the media release.
According the media release, the acquisition expands GreenArrow’s footprint in the Mid-Atlantic region, and advances its mission to deliver transportation electrical and safety solutions nationwide. GreenArrow specializes in maintaining and installing transportation electrical infrastructure including traffic signals, streetlights, intelligent transportation systems and utility systems.
“Integrating ATS into our existing Pennsylvania operations significantly enhances our capabilities in the region and showcases our ‘Land and Expand’ strategy in action. With this acquisition, we are reinforcing our commitment to being the go-to infrastructure partner for traffic signals, school safety, and roadway lighting in every community we serve,” said Lloyd Kuehn, CEO of GreenArrow, in the media release.
Headquartered in East Chicago, IN, GreenArrow has two other Pennsylvania locations–Philadelphia and Exeter–as well as locations in California, Florida, Kansas, Missouri, New Jersey, Nevada and Utah. According to the media release, GreenArrow operates as one company with coast-to-coast operations, pairing experienced regional leadership and on-the-ground expertise in every market is serves, with a central team that provides the shared resources, systems, and best practices to support them.
