Construction starts on shared corporate HQ in Lancaster County

Construction has started in Lancaster County on a new corporate headquarters shared by Paradise Energy Solutions and its sister company, Upward Broadband.

A family-owned, full-service solar company serving eight Mid-Atlantic states, Paradise Energy Solutions provides installation and maintenance services for businesses, farms, nonprofits, and homeowners. Upward Broadband is a family-owned, locally operated internet provider delivering reliable wireless connectivity to homes, farms, and businesses throughout the region.

“There is clear synergy between our companies,” Marcus Beiler, co-owner of Paradise Energy Solutions and Upward Broadband, said in a statement. “Bringing our teams together in one location creates opportunities for collaboration and efficiency that will be a strategic advantage for both organizations.”

According to a release, sitework is anticipated to begin this month, with completion of construction expected by June 2027. The five-story facility will serve as the primary headquarters for both companies, bringing their teams together under one roof while providing room for future expansion.

The new headquarters is constructed on a 7.8-acre site along Strickler Road in Rapho Township, Mount Joy, offering access to major highways serving the Mid-Atlantic region. Per the release, the location was selected to reduce travel time to job sites and regional branch offices across multiple states while remaining centrally located for most team members.

The building will feature approximately 39,000 square feet of shop space and 35,000 square feet of office space. The top two floors, totaling approximately 14,000 square feet, are designed to accommodate future growth and will be available for lease until needed to support expanding teams.

“This investment represents the belief we have in the value we bring to the marketplace and the future growth of the industries we serve,” Beiler added. “It also gives us the space we need to grow for years to come.”

As a solar company, Paradise Energy Solutions will integrate renewable energy directly into the project. The headquarters will feature solar arrays on the building roof and two solar carports, with approximately 609 kilowatts installed on the building and an additional 252 kilowatts on the carports, as currently configured.

In addition, the site will include 14 electric vehicle charging stations installed along the front of the building for employees and potentially future company vehicles. As fleet and employee needs grow, provisions are being made for the future installation of additional chargers.
