Specialties (CS), a global provider in building products manufacturing with facilities in , announced the appointment of Nick Longman as Chief Executive Officer.  

“It’s an exciting time to be at ,” said Longman. “With the many changes occurring in the commercial building segment, I’m honored to lead a team that is committed to the success of those customers who are experiencing this change by leveraging our ‘People First’ approach.

According to Construction Specialties, Longman brings extensive industry experience to the company, most recently serving as president of the Architectural Framing Solutions and Architectural Glass divisions of Apogee Enterprises, Inc. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a track record of leadership across sales, operations, and general management in the building products sector.

CS products are manufactured and distributed around the world. CS operates North American facilities in Pennsylvania; Del Rio, TX; Fort Valley and Kennesaw, GA; Mississauga, Canada; and Acuña, Mexico.  

The company’s recent Pennsylvania-related news includes contributing to the Philadelphia Eagles’ Lincoln Financial Field. The 66,000-seat stadium features a distinctive design of three open-plaza corners that allow views in and out of the stadium.  

As an aid to managing the elements, CS’ 6155 Drainable Louvers were installed throughout Lincoln Financial Field. The 6-inch deep, fixed louvers feature recessed mullions and double drainable blades. According to CS, their unique design eliminates water cascading from blade to blade, significantly reducing rainwater penetration, which is especially important in a stadium exposed to the elements.
