Fulton Forward Foundation awards $545,000 to 22 nonprofits
Grants support affordable housing, workforce training, and more
Organizations span five states: PA, NJ, MD, DE, and VA
Fulton Forward Foundation is donating $545,000 to 22 nonprofits across Pennsylvania and four additional states to support housing, job training, and economic empowerment.
An independent non-profit private foundation funded by Lancaster-based Fulton Bank, Fulton Forward Foundation’s donations are designed to foster growth and development in communities across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware and Virginia.
“We’re proud to support and accelerate projects that help communities thrive,” William “Smokey” Glover, executive vice president and director of fair and responsible banking for Fulton Bank and president of Fulton Forward Foundation, said in a statement. “Together, we’re creating opportunities for individuals and small businesses to drive economic growth and move communities forward.”
The Fulton Forward Foundation annually provides financial impact gifts of $20,000 or more to 501(c)3 community organizations that share Fulton Bank’s commitment to advancing affordable housing and homeownership; job training and workforce development; financial literacy; and economic empowerment.
In Pennsylvania, the most recent round of grants included contributions to organizations in Philadelphia, Montgomery, and Northampton counties.
