Ephrata National Bank adds Senior VP, Chief Technology Officer
Ephrata National Bank recently hired Mark Shell as Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer (CTO). He will be based at ENB’s main office, 31 East Main Street, Ephrata.
Shell will lead the bank’s technology and innovation strategy, oversee IT Infrastructure, services and support, and application delivery, according to a media release. He will focus on modernizing ENB’s systems, enhancing security, and supporting long-term digital transformation efforts that align with the bank’s mission and strategic growth plans.
A Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and Certified SCRUM Master, Shell has 25 years of information technology and cybersecurity experience across financial services, government, and other industries, according to the media release. Prior to joining ENB, he served as Chief Information Officer at Traditions Bank in York where he oversaw a comprehensive technology modernization, developed and implemented cloud-first and cybersecurity strategies, and directed digital transformation initiatives. He has also held leadership roles at the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), FedChoice Federal Credit Union and Freedom Federal Credit Union.
Shell holds master’s degrees in both Information Technology and Finance. According to the media release, he brings to ENB a proven track record of aligning technology with organizational objectives, leading high-performing teams, and delivering secure, scalable solutions.
