Smart manufacturing roadshow comes to Harrisburg
MANTEC will host CESMII: Smart Manufacturing Roadshow: Pennsylvania from 8 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26 at Phoenix Contact, 586 Fulling Mill Road, Harrisburg.
According to a media release, the full-day event will provide the opportunity to explore the latest in Smart Manufacturing technologies, connect with national and local leaders, and gain practical insight into the future of American manufacturing. It will feature ppresentations from CESMII, Phoenix Contact, and regional experts on digital transformation and smart manufacturing; live demonstrations of smart technologies and use case, ;and breakout sessions on workforce development and industry needs.
This national roadshow is focused on helping small and mid-sized manufacturers implement smart manufacturing solutions according to the media release. It’s geared toward small and mid-sized manufacturers, systems integrators, technology providers, and workforce professionals—all looking to improve efficiency, productivity, and competitiveness through smart manufacturing tools. Vendor booths will showcase real solutions, and the event will also offer an opportunity for networking with peers, integrators, and support organizations.
It’s free to attend, but registration is required.
MANTEC is one of seven private not-for-profit Industrial Resource Centers located throughout the state. According to its website, MANTEC helps small and mid-sized manufacturers in South Central Pennsylvania to thrive and grow.
