Central Pa.’s Health Care Heroes gather in Harrisburg
Leaders of the midstate’s health care industry met at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey on April 3 to celebrate this year’s Health Care Heroes.
Each year the Central Penn Business Journal’s Health Care Heroes awards recognize excellence, promote innovation and honor the efforts of individuals and organizations making significant positive impacts on the quality of health care in Central Pa.
Nominations for Health Care Heroes were received from across the region and included 32 winners over 12 categories.
Award categories included: Advancement in Innovation and Health care, Community Outreach Hero, COVID-19 Hero, Lifetime Achievement, Mental Health Hero, Nurse Hero, Physician Assistant of the Year, Physician Hero, Senior Care Hero, Special Needs Hero, Volunteer Hero and Workplace Wellness Program of the Year.
Winners for each category were invited to the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey on April 3 for a breakfast to celebrate excellence in the industry and to receive their awards in person
