Central Pennsylvania-based Presto Fast Italian announced it is rebranding to Pastanito.
According to a release, the new name symbolizes “the endless ‘pasta-bilities’” of pasta creations.
“Our journey as Presto has been incredibly rewarding,” Toni Calderone, CEO & founder of Pastanito, said in a statement. “We’ve built a loyal following who appreciates our fresh pasta and build-your-own concept. However, to embark on a national franchising journey, we needed a trademarkable name that truly reflects the essence of our brand.”
The rebrand signifies both a name change and a strategic expansion, as Pastanito is seeking franchise partners across Pennsylvania and Florida. The concept plans to expand throughout the Mid-Atlantic area in the months ahead. Those interested in franchising can visit the company site.
Per a release, Pastanito is an Italian inspired combination of “pasta” and “infinite”. The rebrand is aimed at capturing the brand’s offering of customizable pasta with over 33,000 options. Diners can choose from a variety of fresh pastas, sauces, proteins, and vegetables.
Since 2019, Presto has strategically opened and closed a few locations in Central Pennsylvania. With this launch, the company will be closing its West York location to focus on their franchise process and will use the 2058 South Queen Street store as a home base for training and educating future franchisees.
West York customers can visit Queen Street York or the recently opened Mt. Joy location, or order delivery on Pastanito’s website, DoorDash, Grubhub, and UberEats.
“We’ve learned a tremendous amount through this process,” Calderone said. “We are confident that Pastanito offers a unique fast-food experience that will resonate with franchise partners and diners alike. We’re excited to share our passion for fresh pasta with communities across Pennsylvania and Florida.”
