Appalachian Brewing Company’s Spirits division, Appalachian Spirit Co., is adding ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktails to its lineup with the acquisition of Trinity Flavors, Phoenixville, Chester County.
As part of its strategic growth plan, Appalachian Spirit Co. said it is capitalizing on the significant growth of RTD cocktails, potentially increasing its revenue.
Since 2017 Trinity Flavors has grown in the “grab-and-go” premium cocktail market and is exceptionally popular among golfers, ABC Said.
The acquisition marks a significant milestone in ABC’s efforts towards consumer-driven innovation, said Artie Tafoya, COO and co-owner of ABC.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Trinity Flavors’ “Ready to Drink” Cocktails into our lineup of adult beverages at Appalachian Spirits,” Tafoya said. “This product has experienced remarkable growth in the market, and we’re excited to foster its ongoing expansion.”
ABC said the spirits and branding of the original company will remain intact. Popular flavors like Transfusion, Espresso Martini, and Vodka Lemonade will continue to be available at local PLCB stores.
This strategic acquisition marks a pivotal moment for both companies, combining Trinity Flavors’ innovative approach to cocktails with Appalachian Spirit’s extensive resources and beverage industry expertise, according to Tafoya.
By integrating the brand into the family, ABC aims to further enhance the recipes, presence, and accessibility of Trinity Flavors’ offerings, ensuring even more consumers can enjoy these exceptional products, he said.
