York self-storage provider hires new district manager
Moove In Self Storage, a York-based storage solutions provider, has hired York native Tonya Farmer to take charge of recruitment and training across the company’s six-state portfolio of 34 properties as district manager.
Prior to joining Moove In Self Storage, Farmer worked as regional director of operations for Midwestern hair salon operator Regis Corporation, managing a territory of 50 salons with $15 million in sales.
Now Farmer will oversee and mentor Moove In Self Storage’s team of property and relief managers through the states where the company has a footprint — Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. Farmer will also assist in a litany of efforts — competitive unit pricing, vendor management, repairs and maintenance, auction oversight, team scheduling and handling customer service among them.

My expertise encompasses all aspects of operations management and retail and sales planning, from controlling costs and maximizing revenues to harnessing team strengths to improve company-wide performance.”
