York Countians complete leadership training programs
Leadership York programs this year saw 154 people representing businesses, nonprofit organizations, and schools throughout York County complete local leadership training programs.
Connecting, inspiring, and training individuals to serve the York community is the mission of Leadership York. Founded in 1978, the organization lists close to 4,400 graduates from six programs. Leadership is provided by those graduates to more than 250 nonprofit organizations. Graduates also serve constituents in local and state government.
Applications are being accepted for the Leadership for Diverse Schools Class of 2024. A professional development opportunity for York County administrators, board members, staff, and teachers, the Leadership for Diverse Schools (LDS) program is designed to equip participants with the tools to understand and interact with diverse populations of colleagues, parents, and students.
