Harrisburg-based UPMC Pinnacle opened two new UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute offices in the midstate on Monday; one in Shrewsbury Township, York County, and another and Warwick Township, Lancaster County.
UPMC’s heart and vascular health providers will split their time between already established UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute offices and the new facilities.
In York County, patients will have access to the same providers whether they visit the Shrewsbury Township location at 16324 Mount Airy Road or the institute’s east York office at 1600 Sixth Ave., York.
Patients in Lancaster County will have access to the new Lititz location, directly across from UPMC Lititz hospital at 1555 Highlands Drive, or the institute’s Crown Avenue office in Lancaster.
“These changes will make comprehensive cardiac care more convenient for patients,” said Erik Toth, vice president of cardiovascular services at UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute. “Patients will continue to have access to UPMC’s nationally recognized care and state-of-the-art equipment and technology for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease.”
