Multimodal Transportation Funds projects in Berks, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, and York counties are among the new project approvals receiving more than $58 million in grants and loans.

Projects in Adams and Lancaster counties are among nine to receive approval through the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) that will empower communities and economic development partners to attract businesses by building an inventory of ready sites. 

The Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) announced this week that several applications through the Pipeline Investment Program (PIPE) were approved by the Commonwealth Financing Authority to install natural gas lines to construction projects, including in Lancaster and Lebanon counties.

  The York County History Center has received a $652,053 grant to aid in improving infrastructure on and around its new site in downtown York.
