The tale keeps getting better for sisters Hayley and .

The sister’s yogurt has raised more than $1,235,000 from over 700 investors, the Painterland Sisters company announced Friday.

A women- and farmer-owned organic, lactose-free brand, exceeded its crowdfunding goal on . The average investment was $1,950. Selling more than 2.2 million units of skyr in 2023, the company reached $4 million in sales to surpass its goal of $3.5 million.

Added Hayley, “We are honored and excited to see where this opportunity takes our brand as we continue to strive to bridge the connection between farmers and consumers with a focus on sustainable agriculture and real nutritious food.”

The Painterland Sisters’ first calendar year in saw their products sold in 49 states and in more than 2,000 retail stores.  named the Painter sisters to its 30 Under 30 list. According to a company release, Painterland Sisters is the fastest-growing yogurt brand in terms of unit and dollar percentage year over year in the natural grocery channel.

Painterland Sisters Organic Skyr Yogurt was launched as part of the sisters’ mission to sustain their family’s fourth-generation Pennsylvania organic dairy farm, Painterland Farms, as well as other family farms in the area. The company called the sisters “a voice for sustainable ” and said their organic skyr yogurt contains calcium, nutrients and probiotics, is high in protein, and is made with dairy milk and is lactose-free.
