The Shapiro Administration has launched a marketing campaign aimed at attracting businesses to Pennsylvania.
“Pennsylvania Gets It Done” targets C-suite executives at mid to large businesses and site selection consultants statewide across Pennsylvania and in Chicago and New York City. The campaign runs through April and is designed to strengthen Pennsylvania’s competitiveness.
Department of Community and Economic Development Secretary (DCED) Rick Siger announced the marketing campaign on Thursday.
“To compete for the attraction and retention of new and existing businesses, we must invest in economic development and aggressively market Pennsylvania as a great place to do business,” Siger said in a statement. “’Pennsylvania Gets It Done’ is a dynamic and impactful business attraction campaign that will build greater awareness around our economic development strategy and motivate business leaders in the commonwealth and beyond our borders to rediscover all that Pennsylvania has to offer.”
The governor’s office said the campaign builds on the 10-year Economic Development Strategy launched in January. Gov. Josh Shapiro‘s 2024-25 budget includes $600 million in new and expanded investments, including the following:
