Rahwa Teklai has been promoted to senior vice president and market leader for Harrisburg-based PNC Private Bank.
Teklai will be responsible for leading a team in Central Pennsylvania to deliver PNC Private capabilities and solutions to help clients reach their financial goals.
She joined PNC in 2017 as a senior insurance and wealth strategist. Based in Lancaster, she adds experience to the team in the areas of estate, tax and insurance planning and most recently served as a wealth director for the PNC Private Bank in the Philadelphia market.
Teklai graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance from The Pennsylvania State University Smeal College of Business and holds the Certified Financial Planner designation.
She is on the board of directors for Leadership Lancaster and the Lancaster Estate Planning Council. She volunteers for Girls on the Run Lancaster.
Earlier this year, PNC Asset Management Group announced that it had unified its personal wealth businesses under the PNC Private Bank brand umbrella, signaling investments in talent and technology, and an expansion of the local delivery of personal wealth products and services to clients across PNC’s growing national footprint.
