Midstate businesses rank in national fastest growing companies list

Fifteen midstate businesses were featured on Inc. 5000‘s national ranking of the fastest-growing companies.

The annual list is based on percentage revenue growth from 2016 to 2019. Companies in the ranking must be U.S. based, privately held, for-profit and independent.

Lancaster-based Ingrain Construction was the highest midstate company on the list at 685. The commercial and residential construction company grew by 688% this year, a slight drop from the companies ranking last year at 608 and 732%.

Just behind Ingrain was commercial construction company D. Ott Construction , at number 709.

D. Ott specializes in commercial construction projects such as restaurants, businesses and high rises. According to Inc. 5000, the company grew by 662%. The Manor Township, Lancaster county business was the fifth fastest-growing company in Pennsylvania last year after growing 1,759% and ranking at number 241 on the list.

Third on the list for Pennsylvania was Greenawalt Roofing Company at 796. This was the first year that Greenawalt, a West Hempfield Township, Lancaster County roofing contractor, has been on the list.

Last year, Greenawalt moved into a new, 2,530-square-foot headquarters and received two national recognized awards-SELECT SingleMaster status from international building materials manufacturer, Certainteed Corp. and Diamond Level Customer Approval rating from CertainTeed.

Other midstate businesses listed in the Inc. 5000 ranking were:

• Harbor Compliance, an East Lampeter Township, Lancaster County business development firm, was number 1,018th. It saw an increase of 454%.
• Costa Oils Inc, a Hanover oil change service, was 1,113th with an increase of 319%.
• AllSearch Staffing Group, a York recruitment agency, was 1,395th. It saw an increase of 319%.
• The Exterior Company, a West Hempfield Township, Lancaster County, roofing contractor, ranked 1,446th. It saw an increase of 306%.
• Inch & Co. Construction, a Manchester Township, York County construction company, ranked 1,953rd. It saw an increase of 216%.
• WebpageFX, a Harrisburg Internet marketing service, was 3,070th. It saw an increase of 127%.
• GS Madison, a Lancaster junk removal company, was number 3,218th. It saw an increase of 118%.
• Leverage Technologies, a Mechanicsburg IT System Development firm, was number 3,472nd. It saw an increase of 107%.
• Soccer Shots Franchising, a Middletown soccer club franchise, is number 3,929th. It saw an increase of 89%.
• Netrepid, a Harrisburg IT Management firm, is number 4,130th. It saw an increase of 83%.
• Applied Educational Systems, a Lancaster educational consultant, is number 4,759th. It saw an increase of 62%.
• Cargas Systems, a Lancaster software company, is number 4,760th. It saw an increase of 62%.
